Privacy Policy

This policy describes what VisaVigilAI, Inc. ("VisaVigilAI", "we") collects through this website, visavigilai.com, and what we do with it. It is written to match how the site actually works; where the site changes, this policy will change with it.

What this website collects

  • Demo requests and contact messages. When you request a demo, we store the details you enter (your name, work email, firm and anything you add), together with the time and your IP address, on our server in the United States. The IP address is used to limit repeated automated submissions. The details are sent to our mailboxes (bindi@visavigilai.com and rajesh@visavigilai.com) through Postmark, our email delivery provider, and kept as ordinary business correspondence. If the form cannot reach our server, it opens a draft in your own email application instead, and nothing is stored by this website until you send it.
  • Free tools. The calculators on the Tools page send the values you enter (dates, a category, a country, a form name) to our own Data API to compute a result. They are used to answer the request and are not linked to you or stored as a profile.
  • Server logs. Our web server records the usual request details — IP address, page requested, time, browser type — for security and to keep the site running. Logs are rotated as they grow, and older logs are deleted.
  • Data API accounts. If you request access to the Data API, we store the email address you provide together with the key, so the key can be managed and so we can reach you about the service.

Cookies and third parties

  • The main pages of this site set no cookies of their own and use no advertising or tracking pixels.
  • Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google when a page loads.
  • The TEA Checker is a separate application at tea.visavigilai.com with its own behavior.

How we use information

To respond to your inquiry, to operate and secure the site and the Data API, and to improve what we offer. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone outside VisaVigilAI except the service providers that host this website and deliver and store our email (DigitalOcean, Postmark and Google Workspace), and where the law requires.

Law firms using CaseVigil

Information a law firm stores in CaseVigil, including its clients' information, belongs to that firm and is handled under the firm's written agreement with VisaVigilAI, not under this policy. This policy covers the public website only.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by writing to bindi@visavigilai.com or rajesh@visavigilai.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We keep demo requests for as long as they are useful to our business relationship with you, and delete them on request.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
